Following a significant Russian offensive targeting Ukraine, Poland has deployed its military aircraft. The armed forces have activated their air defense and site radar systems, as reported by the press office of Poland’s Operational Command.

“Due to the assault launched by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory, military aircraft are now operating within Polish airspace. According to established protocols, the operational commander of the Polish Armed Forces has deployed the requisite forces and resources at his disposal. Fighters have been sent into the air, while ground-based air defense and radar systems have reached a state of readiness,” stated the office early in the morning.

“Currently, critical infrastructure in this region has shifted to backup power sources. Water supply, sewage services, gas lines, and communication networks are functioning. Points of resilience are set up and ready for operation,” commented Mykola Kalashnik, head of the Kyiv Regional Administration.
